Sales Estimator
Location: Eye, Suffolk

This role is crucial for the effective preparation and management of technical quotations for our international distribution network, maximising commercial opportunities while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Day-to-day of the role:
Quotation & Sales Management
Review all enquiries to identify commercial, contractual, and technical risks.
Prepare accurate quotations using company pricing systems, policies, and controlled documentation.
Ensure all pricing aligns with company policies on discounts, contractual conditions, and terms of trade.
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure timely completion of proposals.
Track and manage personal KPIs relating to lead generation and quotation activity.
Order & Process Management
Review incoming orders for accuracy and completeness.
Resolve discrepancies to enable smooth order progression.
Support order handover processes, ensuring all required information is available for internal teams.
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
Conduct regular data quality checks.
Report performance against sales targets, metrics, and KPIs.
Internal & External Collaboration
Liaise with distributors and internal departments to ensure accurate specifications.
Maintain structured records of costing and pricing data.
Attend internal meetings to support project handovers and coordination.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure all duties comply with company policies and procedures.
Support ISO 9001 quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive commercial information.
Uphold health and safety responsibilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High attention to detail with excellent administrative ability.
Commercial awareness and distributor-focused mindset.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Proven experience in an internal sales or sales support role.
Strong understanding of sales administration processes.
A-levels in English and Maths (or equivalent experience in a similar role).
