We are seeking enthusiastic KS1 Teachers to join various local schools in the Horsham area. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work between 1 to 5 days per week, depending on your availability, making it ideal for those looking to 'top up' their current teaching schedule or engage in full-time work. There is also the potential to secure long-term supply positions, which are paid to scale.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and educational lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and abilities of the students.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
  • Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for examinations and providing feedback.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff and contribute to the school community.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in primary education.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching style based on the needs of the students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and commitment to educating children.
