Tutor for Accounting Apprenticeships (Levels 2–4)

Manchester

Permanent, Full-time

Up to £36,000 per annum

 

About the Role

You will deliver structured AAT Level 2 to Level 4 taught sessions, preparing learners for their AAT examinations, while supporting them throughout their apprenticeship journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging, sequential learning sessions (face-to-face and online) in line with Accounting Standards and AAT requirements up to Level 4.
  • Manage learner caseloads, supporting retention, progression and achievement.
  • Assess learner work and provide timely, structured feedback, agreeing development objectives with learners, employers and, where appropriate, parents.

About You

  • Experience delivering AAT modules up to Level 3 minimum, with a willingness to develop to Level 4 delivery.

  • At least 3 years’ vocational industry experience within Finance.
  • 1–2 years’ teaching, learning and assessment experience, with an understanding of Ofsted quality standards.
  • Relevant AAT or equivalent professional qualifications and up-to-date subject knowledge.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. Diploma in Education and Training) or a willingness to work towards one.

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
