Adult Education & Engagement Support Worker
📍 Liverpool (community-based)
⏰ Part-time – 2 days per week (Weekdays, 9am–6pm)
💰 £13.45 per hour + holiday pay
📅 6–9 month temporary contract
About the Organisation
Reed Further Education is working with a charity delivering community-based adult learning, support, and inclusion programmes. They support adults with a range of needs to build confidence, independence, and life skills through meaningful engagement in their community.
This is a rewarding community-based role supporting adults on a 1:1 basis to access their local community and develop independence.
You will:
Support individuals to attend appointments, activities, and social opportunities
Encourage participation in learning, life skills, and community activities
Build positive, empowering relationships that promote confidence and independence

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced in support work, SEND, community outreach, or adult learning
Confident working independently and managing your own schedule
Person-centred, proactive, and engaging
Passionate about helping others build skills, confidence, and independence
A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.
All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
Reed Further Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment by completing mandatory training within 6 weeks of your first assignment and annually thereafter.
